I used to have a strict "The user needs this and now" kind of attitude without thinking about the other side of the coin - business.
I've grown a lot working in Telia, and I do feel like I am on the right track by making incremental changes, but there are always things to improve. Recently I got 10% of developers time in my scrum team for one sprint, so we could fix the UX debts. YAY! A small win for me, but a big win for our customers and company.
The Business Thinking Designer course gave me so much more ways to connect with business, partners and with the whole organization.
Designers are not crazy thinking we can make things better, we often just need a better approach. The work we do matters! We can provide empathy for stakeholders and customers as long as we ask the right questions and of course never underestimate the importance of math!
All this and so much more you could hear from the great minds here. ?
